O teste oral de toler\u00e2ncia \u00e0 glicose costuma ser solicitado somente quando o exame de glicose em jejum est\u00e1 alterado. A interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o desse exame pode ser feita 2 horas ap\u00f3s a ingest\u00e3o do l\u00edquido, da seguinte forma:<br>o Valor normal: at\u00e9 140 mg\/dl;<br>o Resist\u00eancia \u00e0 insulina: entre 140 e 199 mg\/dl;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"background-seccion-post\"><strong>Perfil Lip\u00eddico<\/strong>: N\u00edveis aumentados de triglic\u00e9ridos, glicose e colesterol LDL, e baixos n\u00edveis de HDL, podem mostrar tamb\u00e9m que pode existir uma resist\u00eancia \u00e0 insulina. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"background-seccion-post\"><strong>N\u00edveis de insulina em jejum<\/strong>: Em geral os n\u00edvel de insulina em jejum est\u00e3o aumentados quando existe uma resist\u00eancia \u00e0 insulina. Para esta medi\u00e7\u00e3o pode ser usado o modelo HOMA, que \u00e9 uma medida que ajuda a avaliar a resist\u00eancia \u00e0 insulina (HOMA-IR) e as fun\u00e7\u00f5es do p\u00e2ncreas (HOMA-Beta).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-text-color\" style=\"color:#d66f96\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Dieta_para_quem_tem_RI\"><\/span>Dieta para quem tem RI<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A <strong>altera\u00e7\u00e3o do estilo de vida deve ser o foco principal para o tratamento da RI<\/strong>.<br>As evid\u00eancias mostram que as <strong>dietas DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) e mediterr\u00e2nica<\/strong>, <strong>s\u00e3o ben\u00e9ficas para a melhoria da resist\u00eancia \u00e0 insulina<\/strong>, regulando assim o metabolismo, controlando melhorar o peso corporal e prevenindo o aparecimento de complica\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para al\u00e9m disso, uma <strong>alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o com o consumo de alimentos de baixo \u00edndice glic\u00e9mico e ricos em fibras<\/strong>, ajudam no controlo glic\u00e9mico e consequentemente nesta RI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p outros)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Arroz integral<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Preferir <strong>frutas com menor \u00edndice glic\u00e9mico tais como<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list background-seccion-post\">\n<li>Kiwi<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Morangos<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Anan\u00e1s ou abacaxi<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ma\u00e7\u00e3<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>P\u00eara<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mirtilos<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Papaia ou mam\u00e3o<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Laranja, tangerina e clementinas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Consumir <strong>alimentos ricos em fibras tais como<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list background-seccion-post\">\n<li>Leguminosas (feij\u00e3o, gr\u00e3o, ervilhas, milho, entre outras)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cereais e farinhas integrais (aveia, arroz integral, centeio, etc)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vegetais<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Frutas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div
